My name is Peter. I’m a 71 years old, retired software developer embarking on following my passion as a self-taught photographer.
Given my previous work as a Windows developer, I'd be happy to network with anyone who would like assistance with the shared technical aspects of computers and Photography. My home environment is Apple Mac OSX with Microsoft and Linux virtual machines.

I'm focused on Landscapes, Sunrises/Sunsets, Nature, Botanical, and Architecture photography at present due to the lack of a variety of lens and lighting. I would like to setup a portrait studio eventually.
I'm presently studying to achieve a Professional Photography of America's certification.

This course of study is comprised of all aspects of photography.
In-depth study of camera controls and settings, lighting and more. I have learnt so much already from this material. I highly recommend this certification to anyone who wants to know more about photography.
In closing, I'd like to hear your comments about my portfolios available on this site. My works are available for sale as prints or canvases in various sizes that are mailed directly to you by the print shop(s).
